It is my great pleasure and honour, as the Chairperson of the Association of Pathologists (Maharashtra Chapter – IAPM), to warmly welcome you to the 47th Annual Conference of the Association of Pathologists – MAPCON 2026.

MAPCON 2026, scheduled from 2nd to 4th October 2026, is being organised by the Department of Pathology, D. Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur, in collaboration with the Association of Pathologists (MC–IAPM). The theme of this year’s conference, “Next Generation Pathology,” reflects the evolving landscape of diagnostic medicine and the integration of advanced technologies in pathology practice.

MAPCON 2026 offers a comprehensive academic programme featuring CMEs, slide seminars, panel discussions, postgraduate quiz, paper and poster presentations, and lectures by eminent national faculty. These activities are designed to promote interactive learning, enhance diagnostic skills, and encourage academic excellence, especially among postgraduate students.
